Here's some pictures from the last few days...Enjoy!
This is from our trip to the zoo on Thursday. Very fun, but very crowded.
Our finished yard. Matt did a fantastic job and I love it! It feels like we've moved into a brand new house (in a curb appeal kind of way).
Tobin and his little friend from next door playing with rolly pollys.
Helping me bake Easter cookies.
Checking out the toys in his Easter bucket. We got him a bug catcher for his rolly pollys.
He also has a new harmonica which he calls his "ha-merica."
We hope everyone had a blessed Easter. What a special day to remember Christ's love and sacrifice for our sins. From my favorite hymn:
"How deep the Father's love for us
how vast beyond all measure,
That He should give His only Son
to make a wretch His treasure."
"I will not boast in anything
no gifts, no power, no wisdom,
But I will boast in Jesus Christ,
His death and Resurrection."

wow, your yard looks AMAZING! We will have to come see it! Lets hang out soon Em! Hey, have you taken those cook books back to teh library yet? I want to check them out!:)
Yay for fun yard work...and Matt creating things! Which reminds me, please tell him that people are ALWAYS complimenting his paintings that I have. Is he still painting? He should definitely make it a side job (along with being a teacher/husband/dad/etc.). Thanks for all of your prayers...we've needed them lately. I am blessed to have such wonderful friends.
Spring is here...yard work and all...it looks so good!
I just have to say that I;m so excited about my birthday! Brad told me you are making my cake! AHHHH how exciting!
Your pictures do not give complete justice to the beauty of your yard. It just makes me smile when I drive up and see it. I appreciate not only the "Yard of the Month" look but the fulfillment of your dream for your home!
