Well, in the previous post, I wrote about Tobin's stomach bug. It turns out that bug was a beast and it hit myself, Emerson, Emerson's dad, my mother-in-law, and my own mom, in that order. We are praying that it doesn't get to Matt because we are leaving town tomorrow for a wedding in Houston. I've sanitized the house the best I can and we're using Purell like it's water.
Now that we're feeling better, we've had a great week. Tobin got some big boy sheets a couple of weeks ago since he gave up his paci (yahoo!!). Here he is showing them off. This pictures isn't from this week but it was a big deal in our house and this is a miscellaneous post so here it is...
Speaking of beds, Matt's brother, Sean (a Rooms to Go manager), won a new mattress at a conference and has generously donated it to us. We are incredibly grateful and are sleeping like royalty! We are also very thankful to Penny for braving the North Texas wind and Grapevine's confusing roads when bringing it home for us. Here's a picture of our HUGE new bed (it's so tall it comes up to my waist)...
Yes...it takes up his entire room but he's loving it and it's a great way to get some of that little boy energy out!!

Okay, I somehow missed this post, and that last picture is priceless. I love the template on your blog...I'm going to have to check out the website you got it from. Y'all got a lot of snow! It snowed all day here on Thursday, but never enough to stick to the ground. In a way it's a bummer, but I'm always glad when we don't have to go to school on a snow make-up day sometime in April or May, when everyone is REALLY ready for summer. Anyway, glad y'all got to spend some quality time with Matt yesterday. Have a good weekend!
Maybe Emily needs a stool like Tobin's so she can get up on her bed!!!!!
